Be bold, be different: the story behind Be Bold Padel

Sé atrevido, sé diferente: la historia detrás de Be Bold Padel

There are brands that are born from a spreadsheet. And there are brands that are born from an injured elbow, the wrong shoes, and Ale Galán's racket.

Be Bold Padel was born the second way.

Everything starts with a mistake, or several...

Three years ago, Alejandro Pinto Prieto decided to get into padel like so many others: with enthusiasm, few questions, and too much confidence. He played his first matches without having ever set foot in a class in his life. He walked onto the court with shoes that had nothing to do with the surface. And when he wanted to "level up," he did what almost everyone does: he bought the racket his favorite player used.

Ale Galán's racket, nothing more and nothing less.

The problem is that Ale Galán has been training for decades. Alejandro had been at it for weeks. And that difference, which seems obvious on paper, is not always so when you are standing in front of a shelf full of rackets, with a salesperson who doesn't ask what level you are or how you play. The result was predictable: the racket didn't suit his level, and his elbow ended up paying the price. An injury that stayed with him for almost a whole year.

That year of ice, anti-inflammatories, and watching matches from the sidelines was also the year an idea was born.

Why isn't there a store that truly thinks about the amateur player?

The question seems simple, but it has depth. Because there are many padel stores. There is no shortage of options. The problem is not the supply, but the approach: most star equipment is designed, marketed, and recommended with the advanced player in mind—the competitor, the one who already knows exactly what they need.

And what about someone just starting out? What about someone who has been playing for a year and doesn't know if their racket is helping or hurting them? And the person who wants to enjoy the sport without anyone making them feel like they don't have the skill level to be there?

Those players exist too. And they deserve a brand that takes them into account.

That is why Be Bold Padel was born: an online store designed from the very beginning for amateur players. For people of all ages, all genders, with different physical abilities. For those who don't play like the pros, but enjoy themselves on the court just as much as them, or more.

A brand with something to say

Alejandro didn't come to padel from sports, but from advertising. Years of leading communication projects for national and international brands taught him something fundamental: the best brands don't sell products; they sell a way of seeing the world.

Be Bold’s is this: you don't need to play like a professional to be happy on the court.

That is what "Be bold, be different" means. It's not a call to attempt impossible drop shots or to buy the most expensive equipment. It is an invitation to play without complexes, to progress without haste, to choose what truly suits you, not what suits someone else.

What you'll find here

Be Bold Padel launches with a carefully selected initial catalog: rackets adapted to different levels, technical clothing, accessories, and equipment designed for those who are still building their game, not for those who have already built it.

Every product you find here has passed through a filter that few stores can offer: that of someone who has actually used it, who has made the mistakes you might be about to make, and who knows firsthand what works and what doesn't when you are an amateur player.

We are aware that we are starting small. But we know exactly where we want to go: to be the benchmark that amateur players can lean on and trust. The place where someone asks you how you play before recommending a racket. The site where nobody sells you the illusion that equipment will replace hard work.

Because in padel, as in life, attitude makes the difference.
